Editions Christian Gerhaher, baritone. The Bavarian baritone Christian Gerhaher will be an artist in residence with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra starting in December 2013 and for one year. Since his debut with the Orchestra in 2003, he has regularly performed with them in a vast repertoire from Bach to Britten, including Schumann and Carl Orff. One can also add the international dimension of his career; for example, he recently performed at the Capitole de Toulouse, where he made a sensation during the performances of Verdi's "Don Carlo," in which he portrayed the Marquis de Posa.
