Concerti grossi Opus 7

Description

Balance, exuberant ornamentation, sumptuous tonal richness: the new Arcadians of 415 ideally embody Valentini, this spiritual son of Corelli... (Roger-Claude Travers Diapason d'or September 2002) At the helm of Ensemble 415, Chiara Banchini plunges headlong into the dazzling brilliance of Valentini’s writing, rises to every technical challenge, and aptly emphasizes the innovative turns, notably by allowing all the voices to converse with rare intensity on an equal footing. The musicians of the ensemble have talent to spare, and the various soloists compete in ingenuity and temperament. The music lover is therefore invited to a frenzied feast of the senses - (Sylvain Gasser - 10 de Répertoire October 2002)
