Lil G.L.'s Blue Bonanza

Description

Exposed to street life from a young age and having hitchhiked across the country, Charley Crockett is a wanderer at heart. After returning home to Texas, Charley released his first solo album titled A Stolen Jewel in 2015, which earned him the Dallas Observer Award for "Best Blues Act." He released his second album In The Night in 2016 and performed over 125 concerts that year. In September 2017, Charley published a honky tonk cover album, Lil G.L.'s Honky Tonk Jubilee, followed in 2018 by Lonesome As A Shadow, which caught the attention of the French media (Sélection FIP, France Inter, Europe1, Rolling Stone). Today, Charley Crockett releases his second cover album, Lil G.L.’s Blue Bonanza, dedicated to the blues. Crockett invites us to rediscover forgotten songs and some more familiar ones through an album full of life and energy.
