I Feel For You

Description

In 1984, the electro funk sound scene emerged. Prince is at the height of his art and decides to write for Chaka Khan what will remain her most timeless hit. The album will achieve worldwide success, aided by the writing and production of greats such as Michael Sembello, his collaborator from Rufus David Wolinski, Arif Mardin, a longtime associate of Al Jarreau, the timeless David Foster, and the Nice-born Philippe Saisse. A dream lineup featuring Stevie Wonder, Grandmaster Melle Mel, Average White Band, and all the top studio musicians from Los Angeles to New York, everyone is on board! Also available is the 1988 album CK, the first without Arif Mardin as producer but still featuring the loyal Stevie Wonder, with Prince contributing to the writing on two tracks, as well as Womack And Womack. In a similar musical direction, Chaka Khan also reconnects with jazz on this album with a cover of Billie Holiday, and two tracks with the "Prince of Darkness," Miles Davis.
