Cesar Precio is the new project of Brice Lenoble, a Parisian musician and composer, which he brings to life by unveiling a first album: La suite logique des choses. Ten pop and orchestral songs that reveal a rich palette of sounds: brass, strings, keyboards, choirs, percussion, and even ondes Martenot. Ten songs in French that address, with finesse, depth, and sometimes humor, our contemporary societies, like a panorama of the times. For while Cesar Precio draws its musical influence from the 60s and 70s, from Curtis Mayfield to Ennio Morricone, passing through Gil Scott-Heron and Shuggie Otis, its themes are very much of our time. From chosen solitude to imposed social relationships, from self-staging to letting go, from individualism to fusion love, its songs poetically question our way of inhabiting the modern world. "I seek at the same time the eternal and the ephemeral," said Georges Perec. Such could also be the motto of Cesar Precio.
