'D'eux' includes 12 songs produced and written by Jean-Jacques Goldman, the French artist who has sold the most albums since the beginning of his solo career in the early 80s. The tracks on this French-language album combine Céline's varied influences, blending continental pop with folk music or jazz and 70s soul music. "Working on 'D'eux' was one of the greatest moments of my life," Céline admitted. "Singing in French is a return to my roots, but the music of 'D'eux' is also as original and bold as that of my English-language albums." The first single and first video from the album, "Pour que tu m'aimes encore", evokes Marvin Gaye's classic "Sexual Healing" and its electronic percussion and languid groove. "Le ballet" is a very groovy blues, with finger snaps, harmonica and electric guitars guiding Céline's warm, secretive voice. Strings over a progressive rock backdrop are the recipe for the emotion that comes through in the ballad "Je sais pas." "I only hope that the public will have as much pleasure listening to this album as I had working on it." .. « Aline » the highly anticipated and very intriguing new film by Valérie Lemercier, "freely inspired" by the life of Céline Dion, will be released on a major combination of screens on November 11. The trailer sets the tone: the film is filled with Céline's songs, emotion is at its peak: viewers will leave the theaters with all of Céline's hits in their heads. Repercussions guaranteed...be ready...
