Céline Dion

Description

Céline’s second album in English, simply titled Céline Dion, was by far the most accomplished album she had recorded at the time, with the collaboration of songwriters such as Diane Warren (Cher, Gloria Estefan, Linda Ronstadt) and Prince, who wrote the ballad “With This Tear” especially for Céline. The album was recorded in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and in Morin Heights, Quebec between October 1991 and February 1992. With this album, the Wall Street Journal proclaimed Céline Dion’s voice to be “that of her generation.” Céline Dion contains 13 tracks and includes the hits “Beauty and the Beast” and “Halfway To Heaven,” with saxophone collaboration from Kenny G. The musical range of this album goes from gospel with “Love Can Move Mountains,” to the slinky funk of “Little Bit of Love,” through passionate ballads such as “Nothing Broken But My Heart” and “Show Some Emotion”. ..
