"Oh Snap" brings together twelve very personal songs by Cécile McLorin Salvant, as well as a verse from the Commodores' 1977 hit "Brick House." Initially recorded alone at home with digital tools like GarageBand, Logic, AutoTune, MIDI plugins, drum loops, vocal effects, reverb, and filters, they reflect her varied influences—from boy bands to grunge, classical, and folk.
