For her debut album That Was A Dream, French singer Cécile Brocas reveals an astonishing maturity and a precision in her interpretation shaped by her experience as a healthcare professional and physiotherapist. At the same time, she has gained solid stage experience (20 years as a backing vocalist in gospel and RnB choirs, accompanying various artists on the biggest stages in Paris, as well as in studios and on television sets). Since 2019, she has been leading her jazz quintet, which brought this first album to life. Surrounded by a dream team (Fred Nardin, Baptiste Herbin, Hugo Lippi...), she is offered a song by Philippe Powell (Mélody Gardot, Laurent Voulzy, Ibrahim Maalouf...) with lyrics by Jesse Harris!
