In addition to its original compositions, Tell ’Em I’m Gone features several covers of songs dear to Yusuf, such as Edgar Winter’s “Dying to Live,” Luther Dixon and Al Smith’s “Big Boss Man,” and even a blues version of Jimmie Davis and Charles Mitchell’s “You Are My Sunshine.” The album cover was designed by Yusuf and illustrated by artist William Stout. It differs from the version released by Sony Legacy, which used a photograph by Danny Clinch. Yellow Colored Vinyl Edition.
