Description

An icon of Latin rock, a suit tailored to the artist’s exact measure, and a sacred monster of the six-string, Carlos Santana made his mark in 1969 with a legendary performance at the Woodstock festival. The hits “Black Magic Woman” and “Oye como va” are considered true myths in rock history, and established this genius guitarist in the ears of the world. His guitar playing, influenced by the blues, collides with Latin percussion and takes rock to the confines of the musician’s South American roots. - (“excerpt from the Discothèque Idéale Fnac guide”)
