Caribou is releasing three 12-inch remixes of tracks from his acclaimed album Suddenly, which was released just a year ago. After sharing the remixes by FOUR TET and MORGAN GEIST of "Never Come Back," one of the standout tracks from his celebrated album Suddenly, Caribou is now releasing three remixes, including one by FLOATING POINTS of "Never Come Back" and "Sister," which are very different from the original versions, and another by FOUR TET. Dan Snaith explains: "At the very beginning, Sam asked for the stems of 'Sister' - the most intimate and personal track from my album 'Suddenly' - and reworked it using the voices of my mother and sister that I had sampled from an old cassette from my childhood - but after transforming this track into a beautiful hypnotic and meditative piece, he came back and asked for the stems of 'Never Come Back' and sent me a WhatsApp of him working on the track in his studio with the caption 'Bass drum Making my lights dim!' Was I surprised that Sam made two excellent remixes instead of just one? No - anyone who knows Sam will tell you that he does everything at a level that exceeds all expectations. But I was really super happy!"
