JoeyStarr & Nathy présentent Caribbean Dandee

Description

Carribean Dandee comes with the force of a surface-to-air missile to prove that JoeyStarr, the boss of scandal, had never left. Carribean Dandee is a record with two voices: JoeyStarr and Nathy, two styles, two generations who share the same taste for verbal stunts and performance. While rooted in hip-hop and reggae, this project goes much further. The furious mash-ups of Major Lazer and the electronic sounds of sound systems fuel the duo’s imagination. Joey dares everything, sings (well), invents new flows, and faces off with Nathy, his disciple whom he considers his equal. “I’m looking for the magic of the moment,” JoeyStarr likes to say. Magic. That is the word that best defines this Carribean Dandee, between surgical precision and feigned nonchalance.
