But Here We Are

Description

But Here We Are is the new album by Foo Fighters, and marks the band’s return after a year of heavy losses, personal introspection, and painful memories. A brutally honest and emotionally raw response, But Here We Are is a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship, and family. Brave, battered, and utterly authentic, the album opens with “Rescued,” the first of 10 songs that run the gamut of emotions, from rage and grief to serenity and acceptance, and a myriad of points in between. But Here We Are is both the 11th Foo Fighters album and the first chapter of the band’s new life. In its sound, But Here We Are channels the innocence of Foo Fighters’ early days in 1995, fueled by decades of maturity and depth - it is the sound of brothers finding refuge in the music that first brought them together 28 years ago, both a therapeutic process and a continuation of life.
