Monsters and robots

Description

A presumed member of the Residents, and in any case a masked cucumber, Buckethead gladly crowns himself “the first super guitarist of the 21st century.” No less! It must be said that our man is not short on arguments, starting with formidable dexterity... With this album (where we are pleased to encounter Bootsy Collins, father of P.funk and creator of platform boots with real goldfish in the heel!), this enigmatic character, backed by producer Bill Laswell, lays the foundations of a futuristic, chopped-up metal, devilishly clever beneath B-movie sci-fi imagery or fighting video games. The modern-day Zappa? Lara Croft’s fiancé? One to watch closely, in any case.
