The Ecstasy of Gold : 31 Killer Bullets from the Spaghetti West Vol. 5

Description

Selected from the jungle of film soundtracks of the 60s and 70s, this generous collection of five double LPs digs up the most inspired themes from the spaghetti western genre (on volume five: Tire Django, tire, Matalo, Johnny Guitar, Sugar Colt, La vengeance de Ringo, La charge des diables, Pile, je te tue, face, tues mort, on m'appelle Alleluia, Un colt pour McGregor, Quand l'heure de la vengeance sonnera, etc.). If ENNIO MORRICONE has been recognized as its undisputed master, dozens of other Italian composers, less well known though just as talented, were no slouches when it came to kitsch and flamboyance. Ecstasy of Gold - a double LP featuring thirty-one tunes to whistle in the shower or in the sierra - already stands out as the ultimate top selection for aficionados. Limited edition of 750 copies.
