Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson can boast an impressive and stylistically diverse solo career, which is honored in detail on this double CD The Best Of with many hits and rarities. The spectrum ranges from Dickinson’s alternative attempts such as "Tattooed Millionaire" to the fantastic classic and totally timeless metal anthems "The Tower", "Accident Of Birth", "Chemical Wedding" and "Book Of Thel". There are also many interesting live tracks, demo recordings (including Bruce’s first recording "Dracula") and rarities. For example, a track titled "Wicker Man" appears, which, however, has very little to do with the Maiden song of the same name. The most successful Maiden single of all time, "Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter", is however represented in a faithful Dickinson interpretation. However, the most interesting for die-hard fans are the two new tracks "Broken" and "Silver Wings", which continue harmoniously the compositional line of the last two studio albums.
