Description

The first 100% musical film noir. The brothers Brooke and Will Blair have been composing music together since they were young. After several years of touring and recording with different bands, they transitioned to film music by working with Jeremy Saulnier (Crabwalk, Murder Party, and Blue Ruin). After a successful collaboration between them and Jeremy Saulnier for Blue Ruin, Brooke and Will Blair composed dark and anxious music for Green Room, as intense and intimate as the bloody walls of the concert hall in the film. The furious and shimmering sound of hardcore punk and thrash metal is omnipresent in Green Room. The tracks Corpus Rottus and Battletorn represent the old school aspect, while the film's band, The Ain't Rights, beyond their cover of Nazi Punks Fuck Off by the Dead Kennedys, bring a more modern touch. The album also includes Sinister Purpose by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
