Description

The explosive debut album by Brody Dalle, former frontwoman of the legendary punk rock band The Distillers. Produced by Alain Johannes (Arctic Monkeys, Them Crooked Vultures, Mark Lanegan) and recorded in California at Pink Duck Studios, owned by her husband Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age), the 9-track album is a furious blend of punk rock with melodic pop accents, centered on human relationships in the digital age. The first single, "Meet The Fotus/Oh Joy," is a fanfare-filled preview of the album, which brings together as many prestigious guests as Shirley Manson of Garbage (who lends her voice to "Meet The Fotus"), The Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi, Michael Shuman (Queens of the Stone Age), and Emily Kokal (Warpaint). Through this volcanic opus, entirely written and composed by her, Brody Dalle delivers an uncompromising testament to the world and to her determination to turn everything upside down in her wake.
