Blending their fanfare, Celtic, jazz, classical, and of course chanson influences, the Brin d'Zinc family likes to say that they're not here to cry, but a little bit anyway! These little songs, like pieces of life transcribed into music, tell stories of the sea, our mothers, and of course, the bitterness of life, whether sweet or sharp. It blows, it scratches, it sings, and above all, it shares with a festive energy and poetic melodies! At once funny, melancholic, and rough, light and fraternal, this debut album ultimately reflects the city that gave birth to it.
