It's been 23 years since Lara Croft took Indiana Jones' place in the hearts of young (and not so young) adventurers. With a dozen games since 1996 and three films (with Angelina Jolie as Lara for the first two), Lara Croft is now an icon in the video game industry and pop culture in general, and has rightfully earned her Guinness World Record as "Most Successful Human Videogame Heroine." To celebrate the latest installment in the trilogy that saw Lara Croft reborn in HD, the Laced Records label has partnered with Square Enix and Eidos Montreal studios to enhance Brian D'Oliveira's raw and naturalistic score. Across 28 tracks, D'Oliveira (Tearaway, Papo & Yo, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard) weaves an exotic, dark, and moving musical tapestry using only natural acoustic instruments played live. The score won Best Original Soundtrack and Best Interactive Score at the 2019 Game Audio Network Guild Awards. Specially remastered for vinyl, the "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" soundtrack will be pressed on two 180g blue and orange vinyl records, all housed in a magnificent 350g gatefold sleeve, enhanced by artwork from the Eidos-Montréal team.
