The bassist Brian Cook, the guitarist David Knudson, the drummer Tim Latona, and the singer Dave Verellen formed Botch (legendary mathcore/hardcore/metal band from Tacoma, Washington) in 1993, thus becoming one of the most important bands of their time.
Their last concert took place on June 15, 2002, the same day as the release of their last EP, "An Anthology of Dead Ends." The band members continued to play in These Arms Are Snakes, Minus the Bear, and Russian Circles, among others, and were acclaimed especially after their breakup.
Botch's second and final album, "We Are the Romans," became one of the most revolutionary records of a pivotal time in metal. Today, the band's flagship album is set to be reissued and will include the first new song from Botch in over 20 years, "One Twenty Two."
