Description

Boisson Divine is a Folk Metal band formed in 2005 in Gascony, mixing heavy/power metal, punk-rock energy, and traditional regional instruments, all sung in the local language. Driven by rich polyphonies and powerful melodies, their music draws inspiration from Gascon tales, legends, history, and rural life. After three albums and numerous concerts in France and internationally (Japan, Portugal...), the band returns with Eretatge, an album that synthesizes their journey while remaining bold and epic. Building on the solid foundations laid by La Halha (2020), the band's music continues to evolve without losing its identity. From the inaugural and very punk-rock "Lo Palestrion" to the final epic "Lo Pont Deu Diable" with its neoclassical touches, listeners will traverse a wide variety of soundscapes, each like an adventure. Between roughness and sophistication, catchy choruses and rare instruments, Eretatge takes listeners to the heart of the unique universe of these children of Gascony, eager to keep their culture alive and thriving.
