The last songs recorded by Alexi Laiho will be released in April. Bodom After Midnight, the band he formed in 2020 following his split from Children Of Bodom, has announced the release of the posthumous EP Paint The Sky With Blood in tribute to the singer/guitarist, who died in December 2020. This EP includes two original Bodom After Midnight songs, Payback's A Bitch and Paint The Sky With Blood, as well as a cover of Where Dead Angels Lie by Swedish Black Metal icons Dissection. Bodom After Midnight commented: Just like us, Alexi was very excited about these songs and eager to share them with the whole world, so we are happy to be able to fulfill his wish. It goes without saying that we are honored and proud to be part of his very last creative work and to release it as he wanted. It is time to let the beast out of its cage once again to celebrate Alexi's music, his legacy and his being.
