Musician, composer, actor, poet, and performer, Bobo Rondelli was born 50 years ago in Livorno, Tuscany. Inspired by his city, he established his reputation with his previous bands Les Bijoux and Ottavo Padiglione. Thanks to his writing talents, his satirical and irreverent style, playing with words, Rondelli becomes an essential musician in Italy. In 2013, after recording 3 albums with Ottavo Padiglione and 5 solo albums, after appearing in several films, Bobo Rondelli presents this new album, recorded with l'Orchestrino, a small but powerful local brass band. This small team, coming from the city's jazz scene, is capable of sharing everything from New Orleans jazz to blues to Afro-Cuban rhythms. Together, they reinterpret and rearrange Bobo's songs as well as standards of Italian song, including a memorable 24 000 baci, by Adriano Celentano. On this album, they present 13 songs, 13 stories that one who defines himself as a "traveler of dreams" enjoys telling like a compulsive narrator, an immediate witness of his time.
