Springtime In New York (1980-1985) celebrates the rich creative period of Dylan's albums Shot Of Love, Infidels, and Empire Burlesque with previously unreleased excerpts, alternative takes, rehearsal recordings, live performances, and much more. The deluxe 5CD edition features 57 rare recordings by Bob Dylan, including 54 that are unreleased in any format, dating from 1980-1985. The unreleased tracks include excerpts from Shot Of Love: "Let It Be Me" and "Don't Ever Take Yourself Away." A third recording, "Death Is Not The End," appeared in an edited version on Down In The Groove and can be heard in its entirety for the first time on Bob Dylan - Springtime In New York (1980-1985).
