Description

After collaborating with Gary Hughes from Ten for his first three solo albums, and with his Hard Rain mate Paul Hodson for his fourth, "Spirit of Man," on Bob's fifth album, the singer from Magnum worked with the guys from Lost Weekend, as well as with Vince O'Regan (Escape, Legion, Pulse), who had been Bob's touring guitarist for many solo concerts. Vince and Bob also performed many acoustic shows, and during this productive period, the duo retreated to Vince's studio to record acoustic versions of songs spanning Bob's entire solo career. The result is 11 songs showcasing the beloved velvety tones of Catley's voice and the melodic clarity of O'Regan's delicate fingerpicking. No songs from Magnum, but this is purely a recording of the wonderful and highly successful solo career of Bob Catley.
