On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, the legendary metal band Blue Oyster Cult is releasing its highly anticipated new album! After celebrating their fiftieth anniversary, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT is excitedly preparing to launch an exciting new chapter in their career with the imminent release of "Ghost Stories." This much-anticipated album marks the conclusion of the discographic legacy of this cult band! BLUE ÖYSTER CULT is set to delight its fans with a collection of reimagined and newly finalized songs, covering the period from 1978 to 2016. These musical treasures, long considered "lost gems" by BLUE ÖYSTER CULT admirers, were recorded between 1978 and 1983, with the exception of one track from 2016, "If I Fell." The album also includes the only known studio recording of their cover of "Kick Out the Jams" by MC5. Some of the songs come from recording sessions for an album, while others are from concert rehearsals. All were recorded in the hope that they would see the light of day at some point.
