One could say that before returning with their new album, Blood Red Shoes went through hell: accidents, a breakup, a cursed career… But the many trials they faced revitalized them and ultimately gave birth to the aptly named Get Tragic. After almost four years without performing concerts in Europe, Laura-Mary Carter and Steven Answell feel like a new band, and will present these new tracks live in Paris on February 8, in the intimate setting of Point Éphémère. Despite the harsh trials the band members have gone through in recent years, Blood Red Shoes emerge invigorated. Each incident has infused the album with defiance and acceptance. Embracing the tragedy of these situations, Blood Red Shoes reinvent themselves with this new studio album, set to be released on January 25, 2019, via V2 Records.
