Existent at the forefront of the Polish black metal movement, Blaze Of Perdition returns with their fifth album, The Harrowing Of Hearts: their most refined, dynamic, and accomplished project to date. It is also their most textured version, as they delve even deeper into the themes they have explored since the release of their first project in 2010, Towards The Blaze Of Perdition. "I would say that the new record is to 'Conscious Darkness' from 2017 what [2011] 'The Hierophant' was to 'Towards The Blaze Of Perdition': a continuation of the initial idea, but in a more energetic and catchy form. Perhaps more accessible and user-friendly, but it's not for me to decide," says the singer Sonneillon. Working with the same producer they have teamed up with since 2013 and with artwork designed by Izabela Grabda, every aspect of The Harrowing Of Hearts has come together as planned, and with Metal Blade now behind them, the band is more than ever ready to spread their name even further.
