BLARF is the musical project of comedian and actor Eric André. Most people know Eric as an actor (Bad Trip, Happy Gilmore 2, and The Righteous Gemstones) and for his career as a surrealist and avant-garde comedian, with an Emmy Award-winning eponymous show on Adult Swim and stand-up performances on world tours. But few know that Eric André is a true musician, a graduate of the prestigious Berklee School of Music, where he specialized in double bass. BLARF unleashes its unbridled energy in a new work that is both a humorous sketch and resolutely serious: music for imaginary films. Inspired by composers like Ennio Morricone and Vangelis, whose sonic signatures are as iconic as the films they scored, Eric enlisted a symphony orchestra to bring his compositions to life, recorded in Los Angeles and Budapest.
