Biosphere is the alias of Geir Jenssen, a Norwegian musician with an impressive catalog of ambient electronic music. Known for his thematic works, his use of loops and sci-fi samples, he gained recognition in 1997 with his album "Substrata," which is considered a masterpiece by the specialized press and regarded as the best ambient album of all time by his many fans. He returns this year with "The Petrified Forest," a new mini-album inspired by the film of the same name directed by Archie Mayo in 1936, which will be released on Biophon Records.
