Bing Crosby's iconic song, "White Christmas," remains the best-selling single of all time, with 50 million copies sold. Composed by Irving Berlin, the song first appeared in Crosby's film "Holiday Inn." It won the Oscar for Best Original Song at the 15th Academy Awards. Its success was such that it topped the charts year after year, sixteen times in the United States alone. The same goes for Crosby's Christmas albums. These records, repeatedly released over the past 70 years, have accompanied many generations and have become an integral part of Christmas.
