BILLY IDOL returns with Kings & Queens Of The Underground, his first album in 9 years. Kings & Queens Of The Underground was mainly produced by Trevor Horn, and Greg Kurstin contributed to the production of two tracks, including the single “Can't Break Me Down”. The artwork was created by street artist and designer Shepard Fairy. Billy first rose to fame as a member of the band Generation X, which was the first punk band to appear on Top of the Pops! Throughout his career, he drew inspiration from both the Sex Pistols and the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, establishing himself as one of the pioneers of the punk generation. In 1981, he launched a successful solo career: among his biggest hits are “Dancing with Myself”, “White Wedding” and “Eyes Without A Face”. The album will be released at the same time as his highly anticipated biography Dancing With Myself.
