Folklore

Description

"Folklore" lands on our turntables today, and it’s another shock! Once again, one might be tempted to say. From the very first title track, the tone is set: effective lyrics, catchy keyboards, fluid guitars, complex arrangements, subtle interweavings of strings and flutes, mystical and folkloric atmospheres answering each other elegantly... Let’s note in passing the appearance of the violin of new arrival Rachel Hall: with the addition of guitarist Dave Gregory (Xtc), BIG Big Train is now an octet. And one wonders what could possibly stop the locomotive! Probably nothing, and that’s just fine.
