Pelages

Description

Beryl B's second album, Pelages, is an invitation to caress, that of words: soft, thick, smooth or frizzy, deep blacks or tortoiseshell. The young woman opens the drawers of our lives, drawing out material that is realistic and poetic, playful and symbolic, always modest and powerfully feminine. The shimmering double bass of her partner Jordy Martin takes the duo into musical spheres with multiple influences: folk, trad, jazz, foro. A few sprinkles of violins and other sensitive strings come to dust the whole, for a warm and varied journey. It is with simplicity and elegance that Beryl B reveals her Pelages d'hiver, and gently celebrates the filigree of our existences.
