Organ Music from the Low Countries
Description
At the beginning of the 17th century, the court of Brussels attracted some of the greatest composers and organists of the time, foremost among them Peter Philips, Peeter Cornet, John Bull, and a little later, Abraham Van den Kerckhoven. These composers explored new ways of making organs sound. Simultaneously, Flemish and Walloon organ builders constructed instruments all over Europe, particularly in Spain and France, which would profoundly influence the organ-building traditions of those countries.Buy Organ Music from the Low Countries at the best price
