Bergsonist releases Depths on the Dark Entries Records label, an album of 12 tracks blending atmospheric techno, coldwave, and experimental rhythms. A central artist in the New York underground scene, Selwa Abd has been using Bergsonist for over ten years to explore postcolonial identity, diasporic memory, and speculative temporalities through music and visual arts. Her recent projects, such as ASL ??? ???, already incorporated field recordings related to her Amazigh heritage. With Depths, she continues this ancestral reconnection by combining club energy, cold textures, and Moroccan influences, balancing introspection and dance power. The album reflects both a DIY and spiritual approach, where music becomes a space of liberation and vitality.
