Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from North Carolina based in Brooklyn, Becca Stevens returns at the end of March with a new album: Regina. After spending 2016 on an international solo tour and as one of the members of David Crosby's Lighthouse, the album will follow Perfect Animal released in 2011 by Universal Music. In Regina, the one whom the New York Times has called "one of the best-kept secrets" and "incredibly captivating" once again brilliantly fuses pop, jazz, and folk with Celtic and Appalachian influences. Striking on certain tracks ('Mercury') and capable of embodying the attributes of a Shakespearean poet intertwining terror and beauty in her voice ('Queen Mab'), Stevens transports the listener through emotional and sonic landscapes so captivating that it is hard to look away before the very last note. This result is notably achieved through beautiful collaborations with David Crosby, Laura Mvula, Jacob Collier (Quincy Jones, Snarky Puppy), and Michael League (Snarky Puppy).
