Description

The composer Béatrice Thiriet, after creating the music for "Petits Arrangements avec les Morts", "L'Âge des Possibles" and "Lady Chatterley", reunites with director Pascale Ferran for her new film "Bird People", official selection of the Cannes Film Festival in the "Un Certain Regard" category. Béatrice Thiriet, discovered by Pascale Ferran, has since worked with numerous directors in both cinema and television (Dominique Cabrera, Jacques Deschamps, Radu Miailheanu, Joêl Farges, Marc Esposito, Pierre Javaux, Xavier Durringer, Eyal Sivan) but also stands out by writing symphonic works, chamber music, and opera. For the music of "Bird People", Béatrice plays the piano parts and called upon the Star Pop Orchestra conducted by Mathias Chartron, a flexible orchestra that, like the illustrious Boston Pops conducted by John Williams, from which it takes its name, aims to demystify the classical concert.
