In this new album, she performs two monumental sonatas: Beethoven's "Hammerklavier", Op. 106 and Chopin's "Funeral March", Op. 35. The choice to bring together these two works, although very different, stems from their experimental character and their difficulty of execution. "These two sonatas in B-flat major transcend the human condition in very different ways, but not entirely different... They both have a lot to do with the fear of death and solitude.
