Beak> signs a third album that is even more powerful and aggressive without renouncing the krautrock aspect of their earlier albums. Written last year, this new album, which is the third (">>>") from Beak>, was primarily written and recorded at Invada Studios, and the band continues to carve its own path through a genre that is uniquely theirs. ">>>" definitely sounds like a new step; the production of the first two albums aimed to create the effect of a transparent window, as if the band were playing behind a curtain. With this new album, Beak> has developed a sharper sound, perhaps due to having played on larger stages and at bigger festivals, or maybe it's just because the band members have listened to even more krautrock with fuzz pedals and catchy melodies.
