Barry

Description

At 35, Barry was born. This young woman, who had given up her artistic career 10 years earlier, is embarking on a reinterpretation of Marie Laforêt’s songs. With her powerful, velvety voice, the singer asserts her style. It was after discovering an old photo of her father and the singer Marie Laforêt that Barry decided to revisit the vast repertoire of the famous 1960s performer. With the track Mon amour, mon ami, Barry launches a highly promising covers album. Thanks to her mesmerizing voice, she transports us into her world steeped in melancholy, restraint, and sensuality. From Marie Laforêt, only a text and the “artistic character” remain. Through the sheer force of her talent, Barry succeeds in intoxicating and sharing the intensity of her emotions.
