Quiet place

Description

JACQUES PELLEN & ERIC BARRET New album “Quiet Place” These two musicians met as part of the guitarist from Brest’s large-scale Celtic Procession project. The adventure continues in the intimate world of a guitar-saxophone duo which, without abandoning the exploration of Celtic worlds, takes us far beyond, toward jazz and improvised music. These two musicians invite us on a journey between jazz and Celtic music, improvised music and traditional music: Eric BARRET (saxophones) and Jacques PELLEN (guitar) have known each other for more than twenty years and played together in CELTIC PROCESSION, an ensemble bringing together some of the greatest European jazzmen and Celtic musicians. They are now reunited as a duo, and it is in this intimate format that they return to blending genres in an attempt to carry music, this vast project, beyond tradition.
