Three years after their latest album, Baroness, one of the most captivating bands in the history of modern hard rock, announces today the release of "STONE". The album is the result of a risk-taking endeavor to renew themselves.
While the band was writing what would become "STONE", Baizley was recording and pre-mixing it in real time, giving each song its own sonic treatment. After finishing the recording of the drums, guitars, and bass, the band returned to Baizley's basement to record the vocals, before handing everything over to Joe Barresi (Kyuss, Tool) for the final mix, and then to mastering guru Bob Ludwig (Led Zeppelin, Nirvana).
