Columbia Records has announced the release date of Barbra Streisand's upcoming album, "The Music…The Mem’ries, The Magic!," on December 8, 2017. The album is available for pre-order starting today. On November 22, Netflix will exclusively offer its subscribers the film "Barbra: The Music…The Mem’ries…The Magic!". The film was made on the last date of the 13 concerts of the superstar's 2016 tour. It features a collection of the most legendary songs from her career, also included in her upcoming and highly anticipated album.
The album is available in 2 versions:
Standard Edition (1 CD) with 19 songs from her most iconic concerts;
Deluxe Edition (2 CD) with the concert film as a bonus. Barbra Streisand takes us behind the scenes of the recording of her latest album, #1, "Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway" (Barbra is the only artist in history with a #1 album on the charts across six decades). The international lineup of "Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway" (released before the last tour of 2016) features only famous artists such as Alec Baldwin, Chris Pine, Jamie Foxx, Melissa McCarthy, Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, and many more.
