14 pianists, two Pleiades in sum… two constellations of 7 stars, 14 solo piano albums, recorded on my piano in my apartment. - - For 10 years, private concerts have been improvised on Rue Paradis, moments of grace shared, exceptional and delightful musical moments. A public of friends has formed, regularly enriched by new people. - - A place that sounds so good, a Steinway piano with such a generous and sensitive personality, everything came together to spark the desire to write the story of this place that has become Paradise for a whole brotherhood, my brotherhood, of some of the most remarkable pianists. Each has revealed the intimacy, uniqueness, strength, and fragility of a moment, specific to the recording of a solo piano. Each has written their chapter, allowing their imagination to run free to tell their story. - - Paradise has improvised to record the 14 chapters of this story (the brotherhood is larger…) and create its label: Paradis Improvisé.
