Spain, musette, Celtic music, Mediterranean sounds, and Impressionism come together and intertwine in a grand nomadic and dreamy dance. The pianist wanted to bring together in this album numerous influences from the world of so-called traditional music, powerful and profound sources of inspiration. Spain, musette, Celtic music, Mediterranean sounds, and Impressionism thus coexist and intertwine in a grand nomadic and dreamy dance. The melodic sensitivity and the space left for improvisation give the evoked traditions all their vibrant strength, in a delicate and poetic album. To achieve this, Baptiste Bailly assembled a unique team: David Gadea (Spain) on percussion, Bodek Janke (Poland) on drums, Étienne Renard (France) on double bass, and multi-instrumentalist Efrén López (Spain), who is featured on several tracks. All come from different musical cultures and share a common taste for improvisation and the search for what the Spaniards call "Duende."
