Acoustic at the Ryman

Description

Recorded at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville over two beautiful nights in April 2013, “Acoustic At The Ryman” brings together 10 of BAND OF HORSES’ finest songs in acoustic versions. Captured using Mytek’s latest DSD recorders, then mixed and mastered in DSD format at Charleston Sound studios by the band, the recordings reveal incredible quality and succeed in conveying the magic of an unforgettable performance. “The plan was to preserve the wild and expressive side of the concert, while recording it in the highest possible definition,” explains Bill Reynolds. “The electricity at the Ryman was extraordinary; if the listener can feel that, we will have achieved our goal.” To help BAND OF HORSES in this mission, “Acoustic At The Ryman” is available on CD and 180g vinyl.
