"Country Sides is our world and the way we have used music to live in the spaces where we want to exist: to soar over our own stock. This record is both a nod to the past and a look towards the future. We have been writing, recording, and performing music that inspires us for TWENTY YEARS, and we hope it will connect with and inspire others. Quite simple, right? There is soul and folk, rock and roll and country in all the music we create. This time, we spent a little more time exploring the Country Sides of our musical personality. Ride a dreamy wave of pedal steel swell, but feel your feet firmly planted on the ground and the power of the bass and drums. They give you an undeniable rhythm to evolve. Follow the dancing Wurlitzer piano with the acoustic guitars to find the vocals, always leading, yet always merging and creating a sweet, gentle harmony. We are a band of brothers, who started by walking in the footsteps of the giants of music laid down long before we began this journey. Today, twenty years later, we are following our own path, enjoying the view along the countryside."
